Professional Advancement
Each member of the client services staff is required to obtain a minimum of 120 hours of continuing education in every three-year period, with a minimum of 20 hours in any one year. In-house CPE courses may be used to fulfill these requirements. The Firm will pay seminar costs if the registration is approved in advance by a partner. Beginning staff accountants may be required to attend the AICPA’s Corporate and Individual Income Tax Workshops, as well as other courses for professional development. Specific courses are determined by the partners during the first three years of employment. After three years, an employee is permitted to select seminars, subject to approval by a partner.
You are encouraged to serve on AICPA and state CPA society committees, write articles for professional publications, serve as a discussion leader at seminars, give speeches and seek other avenues for professional growth.
